QUANTITY SURVEYING
We offer a complete range of quantity
surveying services including the preparation of Bills of Quantities, Employer's
Requirements and other tender documentation as required for Design & Build,
Drawing and Specification and Traditional Procurement methods. The department
is lead by chartered quantity surveyors experienced in computer assisted
methods of bill production. Bills of Quantities are generally provided in
accordance with construction industry standards and can be provided in printed
form and/or electronic format via E-mail.
We assist both Contractors and Clients in
Post-Contract financial management of Standard Form Building Contracts as we
operate, wherever possible, a non-confrontational system of approach. With
extensive experience of working on both sides, we can give effective assistance
including Contractor's Surveyors functions such as negotiation and placing of
sub-contract and materials orders, valuations, re-measurement and final account
agreements.
ESTIMATING AND TENDERING
We offer a full estimating service to Contractors preparing estimates,
tenders and quotations from first principles using plans, specifications and
Bills of Quantities incorporating specific material, subcontract and specialist
quotations. All estimates can be provided in hard copy
or in disk format.
CONSTRUCTION COST CONSULTANTS
Budget estimates, feasibility studies and
cost plans are all financial management areas that we can assist in, leading to
the preparation and issuing of Tender Documents and awarding of a Building
Contract. Post contract services include undertaking valuations, financial
reporting throughout the contract period and preparation, negotiation and
settlement of final accounts and claims under Standard Form Building Contracts.
Assistance towards litigation or arbitration proceedings where required, are further aspects of the building industry that we can
provide a service for.
